Hi:

Would I get my own IP address?
Do you have the apache mod rewrite ?
Is it possible to stack multiple domains to different folders using the mod rewrite rules in the .htaccess ?
Is it possible to have multiple domain aliases for email?
Is it possible to have aliases with different domains for pop accounts?

Just general questions and can imagine a few NOs there...
Thanks in advance

I'm not at PowWeb (just a customer here), but I think I can help you with a couple of your questions.

> Would I get my own IP address?
No. You will have an account on one of PowWeb's servers. www and e-mail are fully virtual.

>Do you have the apache mod rewrite ?

I'm not sure. It's Apache, and you are allowed to use .htaccess, but some features (like password directory protection) are not allowed.

A single account at PowWeb gets you one (1) domain. They can point other domains to your main documents directory only, but you are not allowed to subnet or resell. Of course, you can purchase multiple accounts and have as many inter-related domains as you want.

Your POP accounts are all mailboxes within your virtual domain. The ability to create aliases within your domain (to put mail into your POP boxes and/or to forward incoming mail to any e-mail address) is very flexible and can be managed through your control panel.

Hope this gets you started.
