Remote Database Mirroring

I'm running a groupware program on Powweb that utilizes the MySQL database.

I'm looking at possibly mirroring that database onto my server at home. Is anyone else doing this? Any recommendations or suggestions for doing this?

There is no remote access to the mysql servers, so a direct connection is not possible. If you are OK with read only access on your local computer, you could set up a script on powweb to transfer it to your local box.
