WS_FTP acess

Hi...

...i've gone in and created a new FTP user but am unsure how exactaly to give them acess to specific files...?

...help ?

The default setting is /www/ui/username. In order to, for instance, give them access to a folder under htdocs called yourfolder, you'd add:

/htdocs/yourfolder/

okay now when i'm in the FTP manager it asks for a home directory .. can i have more than one folder listed ?

..am mystified on how to say protect a folder that in htdocs so they don't have acess to it is that possible or is there a way to move those folders to a folder other than htdocs and if so how do i do that..

...is sooo a novice at all this

I'm not quite sure what you're asking here. You can only give them access to one folder and all the subfolders under it (if there are any). This folder can either be a subfolder under the htdocs or the htdocs folder itself, the latter giving them full access to your site. This is all done under the FTP subtab in OPS.
