www.secure-fortress.net i just have the layout done right now so i'm really just asking reviews for the layout. i have a friend working on a graphic for where it says secure-fortress at the top.

You need to add a little left margin, your menu is right against the left side of the screen and you almost lose the first letter of each menu item.

There are many different backgrounds with varied colors and patterns. There is wood that makes me think of furniture or building, granite that looks like a kitchen countertop and the beige marble-like background which also appears in a darker hue. The background competes with the text for attention.

Maybe a more subtle, lighter background or even a solid color behind the text would be better. The wood background could simply be on the left side where the links are instead of the entire width of the screen, though even that could be a solid color.

The granite backgrounds seem appropriate for a fortress. The font style for the name looks okay, but may look better if it had an outline. The forum has a matching style which helps visitors remember that they are still on the same website.

There isn't much text here yet, but there are a few links to other websites. They should open in a new window, so visitors can stay at your website. You may consider a page just for links as your number of links grows. The main menu could use more links to a contact page, about us page or even photos/screenshots.

It is amazing how much I can say about a site with little contents! :D

thank you for the reviews guys i am still working on getting the site up, but i don't want to get the site up then have to worry about changing everything later thats why i am asking for reviews and just have the index file uploaded. one more question. what is powweb tos on internet secuirty sites?

ps yes i know that majority of those links 404.
