If possible, try not to use frames. Some people will not see the entire left side and will not be able to click the link at the bottom, unless you show the scrollbar which won't be pretty. The vertical scrolling text at the bottom is distracting. The stupid IE image toolbar appears when pointing at an image. One line of code will eliminate that.

Since you admit that you are not a programmer, I will just say that the website does what you intend for it to do. It displays information and images in an organized manner. The website is easy to read and navigate. But since you posted here, I am guessing that you are open to ideas for improvement.
Maybe the generic clip art for buttons could be replaced or eliminated. I can't believe that someone bothered to make a Flash animation that says Under Construction! Some people are so silly. I didn't see copyright info at the bottom of each page. The link to home should be the first or last link in the navigation menu. The "looks best viewed in..." should not be there. If someone is not using that setting, they probably will not change it to view your website.
Remember not to put too many animations in one screen view. That is distracting. Cute sports website.
Other than what was said above, I like it. The cartoons too, lol :)
