The site is quite plain which is odd for a video production website which uses audio and visual elements. There should be a logo at the top of each page, then the links menu, then the page contents, and finally the copyright info at the bottom of each page. Design one web page for the layout and use that for a consistent feel.

Check for spelling, punctuation and other errors such as spaces after punctuation. The word sponsor is spelled incorrectly. The about me link does not work and many links on the site map do not work. There are spelling errors for the file names. Be sure to be careful about upper and lower case letters.

Keep your contents related to video production and do not clutter the contents or focus of your topic with unrelated affiliate links such as the "start your own business" thing. That can turn off possible clients.

I'm currently creating a personal website. I want it to have features that are interesting. That being said, your site looks plain. It looks like it could have been done with a text editor in HTML-only. For a professional site, I would expect you should design your site with advanced software. There are very expensive applications that could assist you. But there are also lots of free applications discussed in Powweb forums that take advantage of having a server like this.

I barely know simple HTML, and know even less about Perl/PHP/mySQL but these applications are easy to run. So far (only a few days into my website) I've installed an Image Gallery called Coppermine. It is written in PHP and mySQL. I installed the software, and within minutes I was uploading pictures to my site. While it is still a work in progress you can take a look at my gallery at images.jklineberry.com (http://images.jklineberry.com) . I couldn't really find a theme I liked. So, I'll probably have to create my own. I am also planning on installing PHPNuke or one of the other Content Manager. My main page only consists of my web blog from blogger.com (http://www.blogger.com) but soon I will have much more.

I hope this helps.
