'/tmp/mysql.sock' error

Hello,

I am getting a error when I try to open any page on this site. The error is:
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/tmp/mysql.sock' (2)

The "site" in question is:
http://test.kaizen-web.com/Topbidz/

I dont know how long this problem has been valid, as its only a test site so I only check it from time to time after updating the code.

I know its not the code Ive updated today that is tha cause, as its running on two other servers without problems.

The script does not use "localhost" as a mysql server either, it is using the correct path (mysql05.powweb.com), so Im not sure why the error happens.

I also have other pages that use the same database that works ok on the same server, it is just that page that stopped working.

Anyone, got a clue on what it might be?
