I have been a PowWeb customer for a little over 1 1/2 years. I've never had an issue with PowWeb as I have a simple little website. Non-commercial. No solicitation. Very low maintenance stuff.

I recieved an e-mail from PowWeb support back in September stating that they were switching servers on the 19th and 20th of September and that my site would be down for approx. 4 hours. They never told me I needed to do anything on my end.

Friday evening 11/30/2001 I sent an e-mail to support inquiring if PowWeb was capable of supporting vBulletin and if their techs could gain access to my account. I was not at that time aware that PowWeb was running this vBulletin forum.

I got an e-mail back 36 hours later stating what I had to do to activate MySQL. When I tried, I kept getting the message "UNABLE TO ACTIVATE PACKAGE MACHINE." Several e-mails later, I was informed that the reason for this is that my account is still on the "old server farm." I was asked to upgrade or move to the new server. I agreed. I still haven't recieved word back yet.

I called PowWeb today and ran the whole litanny on the techy that I talked to on the phone including reading the whole string of e-mails to him. After he placed me on hold for 10 minutes, he came back on and said that they were going to move my account to the new server and that I would recieve an e-mail from the and as soon as I recieved the e-mail that I had to upload all of my files again.

I still have not recieved the e-mail. I am still on the old server. I still cannot activate MySQL. I still cannot install my vBulletin board.

I sent another e-mail to support and still haven't been contacted. What gives? Does PowWeb hate me? They don't want my business any longer? Why am I still at an "old server farm?" Anyone else have this problem? I'm real disappointed right now.
