I wonder if anyone is familiar with RSS feeds. I update daily and they do show the latest feeds on the RSS readers such as My yahoo. But if I don't renew the feeds but just upload the old feeds once more to the server thinking that it is considered an update. It turns out that it is not considered a new feeds.

Actually what determines an RSS update ? Hope you know what I am talking about :)

I think Yahoo bases it's refresh on the amount of time that goes between past updates. I went a week at one point before updating my news and now Yahoo does not update more than once per day, sometimes it seems even longer.

With Yahoo you can send a signal to force a refresh.

That is about all I know right now. I am still learning the different sites polocies for RSS. There is an date tag that you should make sure is updated all the time...that may help a bit.

Replace the yoursite.com address with the address to your feed. The update seem to take 5-10 minutes depending on trafic but it is fairly quick.
