Before this week, I've never gotten this error and traffic has been lighter this week... What's up?
Probably someone on your server running bad queries. Resource abusers are typically caught quickly.

What's a bad query. Educate me please in case some others are wondering, because its occuring a lot at times and we never had this trouble before and we are garnering the same amount of traffic as usual.
Thanks. :)
When someone requests data from the sql server, it is supposed to be well formed. it is possible to write a query that returns too many results, or possibly confuses the server. since the servers are shared, other's actions affect you, even though you did nothing.

Ahh so its possible that someone else on the server is causing me to get these errors?

So when is PowWeb going to fix this. My database is on space.powweb.com . I'm getting a few dozen of these every day. Anybody else getting errors on that server?

I'm having the same problem. I'm getting about the same amount of database errors each day from my vbulletin board. In addition, I can't do backups or re-indexing without getting a 500 internal error. Could these issues be related? If so, what can be done to fix them?
