Including the GD PHP library

Hey all,

Maybe I should address this to powweb support, but I was wondering how we request that they include another library w/their PHP installations. I'd really like to use the Graphics Design library so I can make dynamic images w/text and numbers to stop bots from automatically creating users on my site.

I'd really like to use the one found at: http://www.boutell.com/gd/

Anyone been able to get additional PHP extentions installed?

Yes, Powweb supports the GD module for PHP:

My bad, it just doesn't support GIFs because of the royalty issue. Nevermind and thanks for your help =)

I have installed Gallery (link below) that uses the NetPBM external image manipulation package that handles many, many file formats. It is very flexible and can be used to scale, rotate and convert images.

How did you get the most recent version of gallery downloaded? I go to the sourceforge site and have no clue about all the login in stuff they are talking about.

Any help is appreciated.
