View Full Version : [Billing] How Do I . . .?
How does one go about removing an old credit card from the payment options? TIA.
I think you'll need to contact billing@powweb.com for assistance.
I think you'll need to contact billing@powweb.com for assistance. One way would be to contact billing, but that would involve sending details of a the card in plain text (it may be that the card hasn't expired but that a better rate of interest is available on a new card).
A better way (one I used in July so should still work) is to add a new payment method (new credit card) and then remove old method (old card).
EDIT: My memory failed me, I obviously didn't remove old card details as no option to do this is available :(
To add a new credit card, check this tutorial - http://help.powweb.com/tutorials/ops/addcc.php

On the first note, I concur about not sending details of the card. I realize that there's an online feature in OPS that one can add a new card. I'm positive that there is a way to remove old cards online (as can be seen through various e-commerce sites). The technology is there and available to implement this. With that in mind, I'm assuming that the decision to not have this feature in OPS is a business decision, not a technological decision.
That leaves me to ask:
1. What is the business reason(s) to not implement this feature in OPS?
2. Will this feature ever be implemented?
Thanks for the earlier responses. I will contact billing support.
There are no option to remove credit cards on OPS. As to the reason on why this is not added as an option, you would need to contact our billing department for an explanation.
