MPEG EMBED freezes Explorer on my site

I upload a MPEG file [binary] to my site adn have it embeded with activex controls.

However, every time I try to open the page with the embeded movie, my explorer freezes up. I also went straight to the mpeg file with a link and my windows media player froze up. But, when I double click the same file on my computer, it plays fine.

What gives?

I clicked on the mpg file and Media Player came up and started downloading the file. Since mpg isn't a streaming format, the file needs to download before it plays. Maybe that's the long delay you're noting.
