Should I change the background color to white or leave as is?

If you mean the opening splash page, I would say it look fine the way it is.

When I visit the page, I see an orange-yellow background with a big white box in the center. I see no text to read or links to click.

I'm using Internet Explorer version 5.5. Consider making the page accessible to those who can't view the Flash animation. :)

When I upgraded my Macromedia Flash Player the page looks wonderful. Maybe just provide an alternative way to access:

Alex,

For a fan site, you have a very nice site. Heck even an old timer like me enjoyed it. However, you really do need to put a "Skip Intro" button or text link on your splash page.

There are many people who do not have the latest Flash plugins, or are using an older version browser. Don't limit your visitors to just one group of people, make your site available to as many people as possible.

Plus, there are a lot of people on dialup connections that have no patience what so ever. ;)
