I've had my site running for awhile now and havn't made any changes within the past 3 months or so. About 1-2 weeks ago for no reason I find my site started acting up... (Script Execution time: 75.1064). It's mostly just the forums that are slow and uploading attachments takes forever too. I also had some mysql error's a few days ago and I noticed a post here about rebooting or working with the sql servers, and I thought that was the cause, but I'm still getting super slow forum pages and no errors. I only have about 6 members and we hardly post much. I'm by no means a web site guru but I believe this isn't anything I did seeing how I havn't changed anything. Can anyone advise me?
www.supsdixies.net on www12.powweb.com and the sql is on mysql04.powweb.com

It seems to be happening on any post with a Thumbnail image.
I disabled thumbnail images and it's back to normal speeds. I don't get it. what changed? I don't have more than a dozen images posted? Is there somthing wrong with the app. that thumbnails these images on the server?
Is Imagemagick broke?
Did you read the forum announcement reguarding load balancing? I'm betting that your thumbnail images are being saved to /tmp, and therefore they are not there when someone else goes to the page and they need to be recreated.

OK so I read the announcement, are your saying I need to change my Server Hostname's from ns3.powweb.com & ns2.powweb.com to the ip listed in the announcement? I'm confused. What else do I need to change? I also noticed my forum bot is down.... this also must be related.

OK so I read the announcement, are your saying I need to change my Server Hostname's from ns3.powweb.com & ns2.powweb.com to the ip listed in the announcement? No. If your domain is pointed to our nameservers, we manage your DNS and have already made the appropriate configuration changes.

Hmm ok so what do I need to change?
This is what I have running on the server...
IPBNuke version 7.4pr2 (PHP-Nuke modded for Invision boards... works fine)
Invision Forums (with uploading.... broken thumbnails)
Alicebot for Invision boards (broken now)
Coppermine Image Gallery (works fine)
Enhanced Downloads V2.1 (works fine)
That's it, so I need to find what's trying to use a tmp dir?
Hi RocketSt*r,
Quoting the announcement regarding load balancing:
"If you have cgi scripts or anything that write files to /tmp, you will probably want to modify these scripts to save files in your home directory otherwise this information will not be available to all servers which may cause problems."
/tmp is no longer available for our customers to use. You will need to put files that were destined for /tmp somewhere within your home directory now.
