Swap Domains?

I have 3 domains pointing to my PowWeb account, i registered a new domain and i'd like to 'exchange' one of my domain pointers for another, does PowWeb allow this or am i going to have to purchase another pointer?

You'll have to purchase another domain pointer.

They can remove one for free (I think)...but its the normal price to add/switch to another one.

ThanksI've not heard of it being done - or asked before. Try an e-mail to billing@powweb.com and ask - they're the only ones who'll be able to tell you. Now that we're limited to the number of pointed domains, they'll need a policy on this. I would think that they'd charge the $20 for the newly pointed domain (as they still have to do the extra work I feel it's justified to charge - although I've always felt the $20 and before that the $25 was a little high.)

You're probably going to get them to add an extra domain for the $20 and remove the old one (if that's what you wish) as part of the same $20 fee.

I've not seen a price for removing the pointing, but then all you'd really need to do is change where the nameservers point to anyway.

Unless you are already at the max number of pointers. Then you need to get one removed.
