View Full Version : Powweb Affiliate Program
Noticed something odd with the affiliate stats for powweb. It shows my impressions for the powweb ads at zero... even though it has appeared with at least 8,000 page loads...
How does this work?
Thanks

I noticed the impressions are extremely low compared to actual page loads...
My other affiliate has recorded ~250,000 impressions so far this month, while powweb has recorded about 1200. Both of my ads are banners, and are displayed equally.
Im not positive, but I believe the large majority of my powweb impressions are being eaten by ad blockers... (turning on my ad blocking in norton internet security causes the powweb banner to not load :/ ).
Maybe the link/image URLs should be obfuscated somehow...

Jimmy, you have 250,000 impressions so far this month? What is your website? How many uniques a month?
PM me if you want
THanks

Hi there.. Im having similiar problems too;
for eample, my report shows the following;
Date - Impressions
1:01:2005 - 0
1:02:2005 - 1
1:03:2005 - 9
1:04:2005 - 6
1:05:2005 - 6
While the impressions for past 4 days are; (Based on my webstats report)
Date - Impressions
1:01:2005 - 1090
1:02:2005 - 1276
1:03:2005 - 1589
1:04:2005 - 1592
1:05:2005 - n/a
Any ideas why is that?
Thanks.
Nope, I still have that problem. I decided to show it less now, since it is recorded less anyway. I just use adsense and fastclick, which count correctly.
thanks
Ryan
FYI,
Powweb.com changed the "impression" title to "clicks" since that’s what it was intended to show.
