We are currently experiencing Routing issues at the moment, please bare with us and all will be back to normal soon."bare"??? Does this mean we are being asked to moon the PowWeb staff? ;)
Seriously though, this is the third total outage in a fortnight. Not a good look PowWeb :(

Well said. PowWeb seems to be very nonchalant about these outages too, which makes it even more irritating. They are going to lose some clients over this I'm sure, me for one if the outages continue. I run revenue generating sites and outages like these cost me money. Very irritating. PowWeb was so reliable when I joined at the beginning of this year, what has happened?
PowWeb seems to be very nonchalant about these outages...I'm not sure what you base that statement on, but I can assure you that no one here is nonchalant about any outage at any time.

Agreed. Any problems Powweb has are just as frustrating for technicians as they are for the customers.

Well it's based on many things. My web site has been down many times in the past few months for periods of 10-30 minutes. As you know there have been many issues on your end with routers, firewalls, etc casuing these outages. #1 we never receive any e-mail communication from PowWeb about any type of outage, which leaves us somewhat in the dark. I've been posting on the forums about my outages and many times it seems to be news to everyone. Most times a PowWeb staff member will eventually respond with something like "We were having network issues, sorry for the inconvenience" which doesn't really describe the heart of the problem, how long the outage was, and what you're doing to prevent it from happening again.
I've also called the Support line to report several outages and gotten responses like "There are no problems that I know of" or "Yeah all our web services are down right now". When I asked what the problem is or when things will be back up and running I've gotten responses such as "I have no idea". This is not helpful to me at all!
Long story short I think PowWeb could communicate better with it's users regarding outages, what caused them, when things will be back up and running, and what will be done to avoid similar things in the future. Better yet would be to figure out a way to minimize the outages.
So there you have it, some justification for my earlier comment.
Doesn't PW have redundancy? Does PW have backup servers that can kick in when the Primary goes down? Does PW have any server monitoring software running that will tell the Admins they have a problem? etc etc

They just load balanced the main www servers, the legacy servers are to be next. If a router fails, the whole network is affected, it doesn't have to do with A or B.

In these kind of things, people always want ETA's, and just so you people know, due to the nature of issues, certain things can happen that can lend a server down for long periods of time without no aparent reason no matter how much you check it.
There are many changes happening, and all is comming in in a big ball, with patience, those that endure untill the end will see what I am talking about.
