Hotmail bulkmail

hi,

every mail i send with *@gamers4ever.net always comes in the bulkmail of hotmail.

i send people email and they don't response because the mail goes right tru there bulk mail argg.. :(

does anyone know what to do??

Please tell us:

1. What accounts you have set for POP3 access (in POP3 page of OPS)
2. What aliases you have pointing to those POP3 accounts (in SMTP page of OPS)

It sounds like you have created some number of individual POP3 accounts, but have NOT created aliases pointing to those POP3 accounts. As a result, your "wildcard" default alias is being used, which presumably points to the hotmail account you mentioned.

This is easy to verify and fix. For each POP3 account that you want to receive mail from the outside world, you need an SMTP-page alias. Starr has mentioned this happens automatically now, but you may have created your POP3 accounts earlier. Verify it in any case.

Sounds like the POP3-SMTP alias issue! Create an alias, give it some time, then try again.

Ok but what i created an smtp alias not a pop3 .. a email forwarding to my hotmail account

but when i send with the alias lingod@gamers4ever.net or *@gamers4ever.net it wil go standard into someone's bulkmail..

maybe i should mail hotmail if they want to adjust there filter

Send me an email to Jeff321@hotmail.com and I will test it out. I have the email headers on which will help tell me why it's being placed in junk.

What email program are you using to send with?

Also, do another test, login at mail.gamers4ever.net and try sending me an email from there.

Well it ended up in my Inbox, as it should. Not Bulk Mail.
