Alternitive to WebMail?

Could anyone suggest an alternate?

I'd like to have something on my website giving members the option to send/read their mail accounts.

It doesn't have to be a module in the Nuke site itself. I could use it in a seperate directory put into a simple html page. Just need a simple script or soemthing to start with.

SquirrelMail give me errors in the folders frame and I've ran into a wall trying to fix it. So I'd rather just avoid that if possible.

SquirrelMail dropped in very easily for me. Prolly took me an hour to get it running, and most of that time was spent skimming the config options. You might try deleting it and starting from scratch using this tutorial (http://help.powweb.com/tutorials/email/squirrelmail.php).

Good to hear someone has had good luck with it. But I've re-done it and followed those instructions each time. Still get the Cannot Create Folder Errors.

I have been sing squirrelmail for more then a year now and it is wonderful

Does it write anything to the error.log? That might give us more info on what it's having trouble with. Can any PHP gurus here tell us how to redirect the standard error stream from a PHP file into a log file? That would likely help even more.

For most people it just drops in seamlessly. Since it's not for you, my immediate suspicions for that type of error would be a path problem. Except that the instructions are so simple I can't imagine that you made a mistake there.

So maybe some sort of permissions problem. I guess you'd have to get Powweb support involved if that's the case.

Which server are you on?
