Maybe a stupid question

Hey everyone,

I have a quick question (and maybe a little stupid - I don't know :confused: )

I installed the osCommerce package through Powweb and am wondering whether this is the ACTUAL osCommerce package or if I have to download it from their site as well?

Nope, that will do everything you need, but limits you on customizing the directory structure. Just go to the install directory now to get yourself up and running!

I deleted the install directory. I was instructed to. :confused: But thanks for the help on my question :)

Well, you can delete the install directory once it is all set up. Once you unpack the osCommerce files from PowWeb, you need to install it so that you can configure the site with all of your URL and database information. Once that is done, you can delete the install directory.

Yeh I've done all that. I'm now sifting through the .php files as I'm no good with .php :confused:

I'm currently working through the text file in the language directory. Then comes the massive task of changing the appearance of the site to make it blend with the rest of my site.

Any advice?
