View Full Version : Any recommendations for web video software?

Hope the question makes sense.

I'd like to put some videos on a web site and sell them on a pay per view basis. (No, it's not porn!)
Can anyone recommend software that will handle the process?

Process would be that viewer selects a video and pays a small fee.
Then they are able to watch the video (and hopefully NOT be able to grab a copy, unless they elect to purchase)

Corporate customers should be able to set up an account (sort of a limited buyout) for multiple users so they don't have to pay each time.

Also need ability to sell and ship videos on DVD.

Any suggestions on packages to investigate?
Any to avoid?

Also need recs on a hosting service that streams video. I know PW frowns on such bandwidth drains.

Thanks!

I found one that seems it would do the job.
http://www.entriq.com/

I'm not wild about the customer interface and haven't checked pricing, but I expect it to be costly. It may be overkill for what I expect to be a modest business, but it has a boatload of billing and other management features.

Any other packages you might recommend?

Thanks!
