Hi folks.

Lets see what we can do with this image.

http://www.petcastle.net/albums/album04/waterdrop.gif

I made this originally as a picture tube for PSP 8 but I wasn't sure if photo shop could open a tube so thought I'd just use a gif.

Same rules as before.. do what ever you like to the image, but it must be somewhat recognizable in the finished image. Let your imaginations sore :).

editied to add that the image size should not be more then 400 pxl on any side.

and here's mine,,, I used the challenge image as accent to an image I already made. the blue peices on the frame are the image that has been deformed and then darkened in color.

lol@(jj) Swirly you can't be serious

I used Photoshop. Took the raindrop.gif, converted to RGB, magic wand background, fill black, select inverse, copy paste. Using a fireswirls.q9q bitmap image and another bitmap of rebecca's face I combined by running them through a complex series of algorythms. Adding a caustic 64 effect, glass 95, iridescence 63 and iri colour 84 with a reflection of 83. Behind it all was a tropical sunset image consisting of various shades of browns and yellows. The background swirlies were created the same way, only with different bitmap images. In short, I used a Photoshop plugin called SuperBladePro. Screenshot (http://streetsie.com/images/firedrop_ss.jpg).

p.s Teeka: Photoshop does not use tubes.

Thanks Yvette, I was getting ready to send myself to my room. I've been working on your contest, and though I've got some really good resources, I'm not producing anything worth while, but...
