Whats the cheepest way to get into flash ?
being medically retired and little or no money its a bit expencive to just go buy Flash .

http://www.swishzone.com/ is a dumbed down version of flash. Much easier to learn the basics with and not near as expensive.

It can create some very nice flash sites and effects.

Since you didn't say what you wanted to do with Flash, here's a couple of freebies that produce Flash content. You might be able to use or adapt them for your needs.

Thanks to both of you for the info, I just wanted to play with it and see what i could do with it for my web site, mabie some graphic things.
seems everyone is doing it .

There's also Sothink Glanda 2004, :) it's a lot like swishmax, with a price tag of about $50 which isn't so bad compared to other flash software. Check out their free trial here:

Though Swishmax is still the best flash software out there in my opinion, glanda is good to try out also. Enjoy :D


PS: They also have other utilities for flash movie decompiling and a flash movie maker with some nice effects.

I agree with alpha .. I use it all the time. It even allows you to open an online flash and learn from it.
