I can received e-mail, but can not send e-mail. I use Outlook (SMTP). I can send and receive from the home computer, but not the one at our shop. This is the error I receive:
"The TCP/IP connection was unexpectedly terminated by the server (Account: 'riverbendtreasures', SMTP server: 'mail.riverbendtreasures.com', error number: 0x800cc0F"
Please advise as to what I can do to resolve this problem. Thanks in advance! Julie

I am on mail07 and I can receive but not send as well. Anybody know what the problem is?

I have seen references to this as a firewall issue, though I have not seen a for sure solution.
What SMTP port are you using? If you are not using 587, you might give that a try. If you are using 587, you might switch to 25 to see if that provides any clue to the problem.
I know that my Norton Internet Security did not know of any use for port 587. I had to modify the Outlook rules to allow outgoing connections to port 587.

Hi Tom
It has been set as follows: Incoming Mail SMTP 25 and Outgoing 143. I changed the Outgoing to 25 as well and then it wouldn't work at all. Also, wanted to let you know that I do have Norton Internet Security, but have had that for years. I also have this at home on my computers and do not have the problems. Any advise would be helpful. Thanks!
