hi netdtek,
Theres a big misconception about running e-commerce sites , that is, that you don't need a legitimate contact information, explanation of how purchases will be shipped, how you're going to return the products if needed. The site is missing all those.
There's the poor header banner :). The logo is drowned in shadow effects. The fonts could be better and needs to be more readable. There's too much negative spaces.
Fortunately, web sites aren't like print materials. You can edit it anytime. :)

wrapdida - I do have that information you are talking about on the about us page, and links to the pages on every page's footer. Terms, privacy, returns, etc...
Is it not clear and too hard to find? What is the negative space you're talking about? Is it all the white space? I'm having a hard time designing the site on my laptop with it's screen size. I've worked to keep all the pages clearly visible at 800 x 600 by reducing image sizes etc, but at 1024 x 768 there is lots of space that isn't used I know. I don't know how to tighten up the elements and keep that from happening.

A contact us page would be a more obvious place for contact info than the about page IMO. If you're equipped to handle it, I would put the email and phone # on every page because it's easier to engage a customer in a dialogue than tog et a cold sale...

Hey, I remember this one! Choosing a few main colors for your background and fonts is important. The neutral colors do not compete with the images. And thank you for not choosing gray for your background. I have a few clients who made me use gray even though it looks like a rainy day to me. ;)
The orange text attracts attention. The wind chime should have a caption under it. It does link to the product page as the other product images do on the home page. The contents do not seem to fill the page. There is space below the menu on the left. You can include ALL page links there instead of putting the other links at the bottom of the page.
You do not need a banner link to your own site on your site. You can make your copyright text link back to your own site if you like. Include a link exchange page where someone can copy your banner image to link back to your website. If you insist on including the site meter, could you replace the ugly image with something that looks nice on your website? The word "welcome" is not necessary. People are obviously welcome or your site wouldn't be online! ;)
The site is looking better. :)
