I converted my own personal site over to a forum devoted to digital photography and I have a section for posting photos. Let me know what you think. How does it look. Anything I should be concerned about? It is PHP-Nuke but I do have two different programs running that are supposed to help keep it secure, and it's updated to ver 7.5

I'd personally like to see larger font. Hard to do a lot of reading whne your weyes hurt from squinting...
I also thought it loaded a bit slowly but never take just one person's word on that one.
I do not know about the font being too small, I did not have a problem with it and I am running at 1280x1024... Load time did not seem to be an issue either... And I usually have some slowness with Powweb from work...
Overall, I like the layout, it is very clean and neatly organized.
One small thing, at the top only the words are hotlinked, I feel that the images should also be hotlinked...
The feedback form seems lost in the middle of the page because it is so small that it does not take up much area...
Just curious, what are you using for your polls? Is that part of PHP-Nuke?
Another thing that I could see as being benificial is to hide the memeber related tasks until a given person is logged in... Atleast group the memeber related functions together. Also, most of them gave you a log-in page, but one page just said that "you are trying to access a restricted page"... They should have the same reaction to a non-logged in user...
Overall, nice site with a fairly good layout...

I also agree that font is so little and hard to read(1280x960). I didn't visit your site much but php-nuke sucks I think. That's a minus point for every web-site built with it.

Okay, aside from this....
How does it look.
Using Nuke means it you have to work within the limitations of the program. The color scheme is light and neutral, making it easy to read and noncompetitive with the images. The logo stands out and looks okay, though it seems a bit computer-retro. A more exciting or colorful logo would be nice.
The template looks so .... hmm, shall I say "default" or plain or boring. I guess I see too many of these. The images should be the main focus, but the site could look hotter.
My concern is with how many people will post images on your server instead of posting a link to an image that is hosted on their own servers. The bandwidth usage and load time should be high.
I noticed a typo - reccomended should be recommended - see Better than Notepad!! and yes, Crimson Editor is nicer than Notepad with the colored HTML. CuteHTML and I believe Dreamweaver does the same. I am still in the habit of opening Notepad.
The forum topic of digital photography is popular and even people who don't take pictures can enjoy looking at them. Getting enough people to post on your forum is tricky since there are so many forums like yours on the Internet. Exchanging links may bring more traffic to your site.
So, I guess I must sum it up in one word - HOTTER! This may be my thought as I sit here surrounded by snow and trapped with my family. It is TOO COLD to go outside to take pictures. The tractor didn't even want to start. But if I do get pics, maybe you want to see pics of MY barn! :D

I need to figure out how to link those little icons too. I instinctively clicked on them as well and nothing happened. The feedback form and the poll are both part of the nuke.
Which member options were visible? I believe the entire "Main Menu" block has to stay visible. Do you remember which page gave tyou the "restricted page" error?
Thanks to everyone who took the time to check it out.
