For the last 2 years I have been able to do ftp.mysite.com.

I'm very disappointed to hear that, for the first time, have to use the server hostname instead of my domain name to ftp.

Maybe its just temporary, powweb.com might switch it back on again! :D

Maybe its just temporary, powweb.com might switch it back on again! :DThe reason given is to do with the introduction of clusters. If the reason given is genuine then they won't be changing back. :D

If you want to ftp to your domain name (ftp.yourdomain.com), set up a CNAME in OPS. You can't ftp to your domain name because the legacy servers are now load balanced.

Why would you bother to register a domain name only to use your host name when giving someone access to your site? It only serves to confuse the non technical users and adds frustration when trying to support someone.
