I'm curious how many people have had problem reports closed with a form letter about Apache logs no longer being on the FTP server, when the problem reported had nothing to do with Apache whatsoever.
I've had two, and at least one reached 2nd level tech support, whom I would expect to actually read a problem report. The other involved a 23-hour problem with cron and PHP, and I have no clue what triggered the Apache log reflex reaction. This hasn't made me happy, but I'm willing to cut a certain amount of slack.
So, first off, have you had a similar experience, and second, what are you doing to protect yourself from this happening again?
