Please choose which is the best.

Hi all,

Recently I've been designing a website for a new management consultant company located in Indonesia and I'm curious about which is the best from these design options:

Nice design! First impression, I actually liked the dark blue one the best (Design 4) for color blend, but the lighter screens of Design 2 seemed to be an easier to read color combination, which is why I chose it.

After viewing the result of the polls, I'm really confused why nobody has yet choosen the first design (Design 1) :confused:.

Personally I really liked first design, can somebody tell me what is missing from the first design (Design 1)??

I'v also added another design option based on Design 1 with much darker tone: http://gmt-consult.com/NewGMTDark. I will much appreciate any of your comments or critiques on this newest design.

MikhaelI suspect that it's not that Design 1 is worse than the rest, just your sample size is very small. When you get to around 40 votes and still no-one has voted for 1 (I'm sure that won't happen) then you're in the business of looking and seeing what is missing.

It LOOKS nice, but I'm not sure what value the blurred picture of the back of some guy's head adds to the site...

I do like design 1 best. Nrs. 3, 4 and 5 are too crowded in my opinion (if you get my drift). The improvements you made to design 1 are o.k. with me. Doesn't do it much good, but doesn't hurt it either. I like dark more than I like darkblue btw.

Actually the dark color scheme (black and blue) wasn't meant to be an improvement over the first design because it basically the same design with different color schemes. I've also decided to drop the black one, because I don't think it quite appropriate for a professional website.

Moreover, after some consideration, I would say that the dark blue color is way too dark, so I've decided to improve it a little bit and make it lighter in color. In case you've forgotten, the link is http://gmt-consult.com/NewGMTDarkBlue

After seeing the poll result and a few oppinions from friends, I've pretty much sure the first design is the current best option. Thus, I've decided to continue the development of the first design.

I've also made some changes and hopefully some improvements to the first design. Any comments and critiques on the updated version of http://gmt-consult.com would be great.
