I'm just wondering if the "Customer Appreciation Special" works for people who want to renew their site, my current set up ends in May of this year. So if I renewed right now, would I get the benefits of the "Customer Appreciation Special", or does this only apply to new members?

I think it is only for new customers only. Only 1 day left for anyone else thinking of signing up! Click here (http://www.powweb.com/)
EDIT: I was wrong - if we e-mail billing@powweb.com we can have this offer as well

Ugh... Those of us already signed up are no longer customers? What are we now? Chopped liver?

lol.. yeah that's why I was wondering if this special applied to us, as it didn't word it "only for new customers" as they often do.

Not sure what the deal is on this special. We'll see if one of the employees can give us an answer.
With all of the outages and server problems recently you think it would be wise (and a nice gesture) to offer it's current members a promotional renewal package.
We do appreciate "all" our customers. And for those who want to renew their bi-yearly package and take advantage of this offer must contact the billing deptartment at billing@powweb.com.
Thank you.

I agree that those of us who didn't get all those specials when we signed up years ago and settled for legacy servers with no load balancing deserve something for staying here. But it is like that sign in front of the bank that says "FREE checking and a free gift". I didn't get a free when I signed up and now I don't even get free checking.
I said this before, money is great, credit is okay, white roses and chocolates (with nuts) are also appreciated. :D

Ahhh...I remember the good ol' days of setup fees ($34.95), MySQL setup fees ($10...no free ones), and limits that were a tenth of what they are today.
So, if you think about it, I'm getting all of the upgrades since then (and in the future) for free...and all of it at the $7.77/month price. Good enough for me

Berks, how right you are! Which is why we chose PowWeb in the first place. It was the best value then and still is. I don't even know when mine is up for renewal, because it is automatic and I still have credits from the old affiliate links. Now I am getting a check after faxing the form w-9, so I better check my balance!
We really do appreciate all you guys. And this is why we strive to provide excellent service and offer the best value possible.

Mah horse is on the wagon, thankee very much!
As actress Bonnie Hunt says her dad used to say:
"You can't blow the head off a thanks"
(followed closely by the people he was doing electrical work for asking if he'd like a beer, which he accepted.)
