Hello all. Just stopping by to post a link to my site and get some opinions/criticism. It's a gaming clan site and I want to know what I should add/remove. I'll shut up now and wait for replies. Thanks in advance.

LMAO ya there's definately something about that black background that just makes you want to use it. Thank you for the ideas and I will definately consider changing the look of the buttons.

Thank you for all of your input and thank you especailly for being honest. :D

Everyone knows I am not a big fan of black backgrounds, unless you can find a way to not have TOO much black or make the text and links easier to read. Black is common for porn, rock music and gaming sites, so I am sure you have no plans of changing the background color. But you can work on making it more tolerable after prolonged viewing. Then again, gamers have better eyes than some of us. ;)

The home page is an image with two links incorporated in it. My husband is one of the many clueless Internet users who would say, "What the h*** is this? A web page? There is no website? There are no links!". Then he would leave. But my husband is not a gamer and gamers normally figure out the navigation. And they don't use text browsers, so we don't have to worry about that here.

I clicked into the website and see that your visitors have comments on your color scheme. Hmm... maybe you can have a warning on your intro page about the language. My son likes to repeat what he sees or hears. I think your forum needs better smilies. Download these I selected for a car club forum. They are free to use.

Yes, I am not a fan of blue text on a black background, but the text is not too small, so I can read it. I like to use white or yellow-orange text on black. I looked at the about us and noticed that your paragraphs were centered and not aligned to the left. That is easy to correct.

The forum is also black - no surprise. The orange color stands out better. The gray text on black does not. The logo is a gif. Did you use a transparent gif? It doesn't look as crisp. Try a jpg with the background layer being the same as the background color on your website, which is the web safe color black.

My only other comment is that I don't like to see scrollbars in web pages. But that happens on these types of sites. You can use css to color the scrollbars to match your color scheme, but that is only viewable for Internet Explorer. Oh, and you may want your copyright info at the bottom of EVERY web page.

Interesting website. I am too busy and visually impaired to be a gamer, but I have many friends who are. There are also many gaming sites here. You should not have a problem exchanging links with related sites. Good luck! :)

I like the design, but it lacks polish if you know what I mean. Also note that scrollbars that are not on the very right of the window... look ugly and distracting.

just my 2 cents
