This definitely looks like a GRAPHICS designer created this website. First, there is a splash page which is useless for search engines or people using text browsers. And some people not experience with the Internet do not know how to click to enter a page with a big image on it.
The pages probably take a while to load for dialup Internet connections. The web page is dark and appears to the left for higher screen resolutions. The text is very small, so that coupled with the dark background makes it difficult to read.
The client list is not that important. The description of services is. There is a portfolio that shows what looks like templates. The packages are just that for quick, affordable solutions. There is no copyright info at the bottom of each page. The contact page has NO contact info at all! Just a form to request info.
This site does not convince a potential client to buy here, but the site is not search engine optimized anyway, so no one will see it. ;) The design looks like those free or cheap templates - attractive, but not unique. I guess I have seen too many of these.
These are honest observations and not a personal attack. If you want to sell web design services, your site must be informative and have all the elements your clients are hoping to get in their websites. My clients see I have top ranking, a quick-loading website and a professional feel. They want the same. Many have had websites that fail, because they were not properly designed, then they found me to redesign their websites.
Your designs may work IF you be sure to research and inform your clients how to include useful contents and meet search engine guidelines. Be sure to do this yourself. Change the text between your title tags to include your keyword phrases. Include meta tags for meta searches. Exchange links with related websites to improve link popularity and ranking on Google. Manually submit your site to search engines and directories AFTER your site is completed and optimized.
If you are not skilled at search engine optimization, you could team up with someone who does this. (Yes, I do this.) Try to give the best service to your clients, so they are satisfied with your services and recommend you to others. Good luck! :)
