I have many picture pages on my site. They deal with one particular animal species. I have renewed the lay out. Took me some time, but Flinch in the JavaScript forum helped out. Great Guy. How do you like it. In my opinion the lay out is straight forward enough not to include guidelines for navigation and viewing big pictures, but I am not sure. What do you think?

By the way: should you press a navigation picture please use your back button to return to the picture page. It being a test page is not incorporated in the site yet.

Thanks,

Hans

Nice layout but I'm not too sure about the navigation. I have been to a ton of photo sites but your navigation may confuse visitors not used to a setup like this. Other than that, everything worked fine and it looks good too!

Sweet macro work man. All your shots?

And I happen to really like the navigation.

I didn't mean to sound as if I didn't like it. Good advice about the validation man.

Heh heh...Thanks for the prod on the validation thing. I just fixed a couple of pages on my site after reading your post. I have issues with a drop down menu not validating but I am gonna have to do my homework for that. It was one of those online menu creators and it works ok but won't validate.

Thanks man!

And to think I was going to go this whole day without learning anything! Great idea and even better description. Any guesses on what I'm going to be up to on Monday?

I wanted 'critique' and got a 'dialog for two' :D
But thank you both very much. I have already stripped the megatags on certain pages. I started my webpage in 1998 and way back then it was very important to have megatags, preferably lots of them....
I left the key words as my internal search engine uses them to rank pages.

Lots of thanks to the both of you. Now I have some work ahead of me (some 700 pages to work on)

The test page is off line, but can be admired (hmmmm) here:

Mind you, it is not part of the site yet, so you'll have to return using the back button when clicking in the navigation menu.

Off topic, so I made a new thread out of this.
