Well, I figured I might as well post this here, since all I get from my friends are "cool" and "looking good."

Review blogs - fine (although I wouldn't call 2 reviews "overblown"!)

Politics blogs, where all the author does is link to other political blogs with the same conspiracy theories? Nah - doesn't do it for me. If they put all that effort into writing to / calling their MP/senator, rather than writing blogs which statistically more people write than read, then the world might change!

The newest version of your website doesn't have alot of contents yet, but your visitors will know instantly if they will like your website. Your computer geek friends will enjoy it. ;)

The links change to another shade of red when hovered, but the change is too subtle for some eyes to see. The headings above the links in the left navigation menu are underlined, but they are not links. That is confusing, except maybe for geeks. Red text on gray background isn't that easy to read, unless you choose different hues.

The little envelope icon with the mailto link is not very noticeable. A text link to a contact page would be better. If you are worried about spam, you could use an image link instead of a text link for your email address.

The FAQ page is funny. Good luck looking for girls as you are openly so geeky, you explain and keep your geeky nickname. Maybe you will meet a geeky girl who will enjoy the same hobbies you do. Or you may get lucky and meet someone by accident who is not like you at all. That happened to me.

You should have a Refer this Geek to a (Girl)friend script on your website! :D Add copyright info at the bottom of the page, even if this is a personal website. You would be amazed how many people would even "borrow" contents from any website at all.

Your reviews are very thorough and helpful. That is really nice. Your writing style is very casual and easy to understand. And not offensive. I can't tell you how many sites had profanities without warning. Keeping it clean will help you get more links if you choose to exchange links to get more visitors.

This looks like it will be a cool website. Good luck! :)

Thanks ;) Heh, I hope to attract a wider audience (ie, not just my friends) eventually.

I'm actually working on a script for Refer-a-Friend ;) I wrote the entire backend and content managment in PHP by myself =)

The best humor is relaxed and not aggressive. ;)

Eventually, I hope I can exchange links for other sites. Right now, I'm stuck in PageRank 1 hell ;)

This report says your page rank is 5 but your Alexa rank is unranked.

I would exchange links with your site. We share a target audience since many of the people that look at my site are computer geeks looking for a job. :D

How odd. Yesterday I was PR 1, now I'm up to 5.

Anyway, yeah, I would be interested in exchanging links! Just give me your site information and I'll place it up on the linked list.

I included a link to your site at the bottom of http://www.powerpageswebdesign.com/code.htm where more computer geeks can find it. If you would like it to be worded differently or placed elsewhere, let me know!

I like your Refer this site to a (Girl)friend link! :D

Thanks! It wasen't my idea though. SOMEONE gave it to me ;)

I've placed your site in the linked list (geekstreak.com/?page=links). It'll get another home when I figure out a better place for it, unless you're cool with it's current location.
