View Full Version : Grisoft AVG and SP2 Download

I downloaded the Windows SP2 critical updates from Microsoft. Now my antivirus Grisoft AVG is not activated. I realize Microsoft included there own Antivirus along with the download, but I cannot disable it. Any one else having this ecperience? Thanks

Did you re-download and re-install AVG?.

I uninstall AVG and reinstalled. There was no change. A balloon popup instructed me to reboot and AVG updates would install. I did this numerous times.
The following day I booted up and AVG was active and all was ok. Strange happening.

Did you download the newest/greatest version (not just an upgrade/patch)?

I have XP2 and AVG on one of my stations...and have no problems so far.

Not sure what ... I realize Microsoft included there own Antivirus along with the download ... is as I have not seen this in any update.
