Can't access forum - IP Banned?

When I try and access this forum from my home, I get that my IP address has been banned? (ISP is Hi Velocity).

Any idea what's going on? (I'm in the UK)

It may be that the IP of your home system is one that was assigned in the past to someone who abused the forum. You'll need to tell PowWeb what your home IP is and ask that they rescind the ban.

Have you a static IP? (Many in the UK don't.) - You could check with abuse@powweb.com to see if others in the Hi Velocity IP range are also banned if you're on a non-static IP - and then simply reset your router, you'd get a new IP but it's no good if others in the Hi Velocity range are also banned.

Alternatively, you could get a new IP off HiV - but only if other IP's aren't banned.
