I am the webmaster of Kazuya's Neo Geo reviews, and for the past month or two I have been working on getting a new design for my site done. It has taken some time due to the size of the site, the amount of pages invloved, and also the previous bad planning by myself :P. However it is more or less done now and I'd like to hear what people think:

www.ng4l.com

The old site is here, but only until the domain gets transferred over:

www.neogeoforlife.com

There's still some work to be done and I'm still not 100% happy with everything, but the hard part is done now :). I mainly went for a design that isn't too flashy, just simple and easy for the visitors to find what they are looking for, hopefully it is!

I'm not too crazy about the small font size, but I'm older than your average reader probably is. However, I see you used a fixed font size. I'd make it a variable font size, so if some blind old person, like me, wanted to read it, they could enlarge the font size. (BTW, I'm 34.)

On the whole, this is a good-looking site. I looked at the old one, and I think the new one is quite an improvement in style and organization! I think the gray background is much better than the blue.

Hope this helps,

amo, If you are using Internet Explorer, you can change the font size on a webpage by going to View>Text Size and then choosing a size.

Nice site Kazuya. I like the whole layout. I found it easy to manuever around also.

Not on this site, FastZ. That's what I was talking about. If you specify a fixed font size in your code, your reader can't change it. If you specify a variable font size, then the reader can choose how big the text is.

You can actually change the font size by pressing ctrl + if you are using Firefox, but I just realised that in IE it doesn't work. What I might do is add a link (using css) so that people can click it to change the font size if they need to. Personally I like the font size the way it is, but I agree that some people might not be comfortable with it.

Thanks for the comments :)
