Hi guys, I need help....PLEASE.....
Two months ago I bought an Intel Celeron 900 MHz 256MB RAM 80GB Hardisc with Windows 98 preinstalled. A month ago I installed a full package of Windows XP Home version, at the first week it ran well, then when I register the package by filling the new PIN I received from Microsoft center, the machine started to acting like an idiot. Every time I start it, it takes 3 or 4 time until it can read the system files. In the first time I switch it, it shows error message DISK ERROR, SYSTEM NOT FOUND. But after 3 or 4 times repeating on pushing the switch finally it works.
Today it shows the worst, since it conducted disc check which took about 3 hours. I tried to call Microsoft center but they told me it is maybe problem with the hard disc. I had run disc check a week ago and it showed no bad sectors.
Can anybody familiar with hardisc give me a help? I am tired of this machine  but can't get rid of it since my important data is stored in the hardisc.
Any advice is very welcome.

Regards.
