back up

I would like to make a back up of the database for one of my sites, and was wondering how I do it. Was looking in the Help (http://help.powweb.com/) section, but can't seem to find anything relating to it.

Also I have never done this before (obviously) and was curious if I should be doing daily or weekly back ups of this and everything else on the site. Whats the best way to do all of this?

part of the reason is I'd hate to lose everything if the worst ever did happen. and 2nd, I'm always playing with the site,a dn if I were to completely bugger up something I'd want to be able to quickly replace everything.

Any advice?

Thank you Both. I looked at the various posts you both suggested and I tried B&T's first, and I have it working, so I'm rather excited. (small things really lol) :D
