View Full Version : MySQL Connectivity Problems ... ?

I'm currently attempting to reinstall a forum setup on one of my domains and I keep getting an error that it's not connecting to my database (on mysql06).

Everything forum-wise is configured correctly but the not connecting to MySQL isn't allowing me to finalise the installation of the forums.

Any suggestions ... ?

Can you connect manually thru phpmyadmin?

Make sure database name is correct in the forum config. It sounds like you might have changed a few things if you're reinstalling.

The database name is still the same though I will check that out just to be 100% sure.

I'll also try and manually connect to phpmyadmin.
