Every six months or so. . .

I know I've had my site critiqued on here before, but as the title says, every six months or so I tend to play with the look of my online humor and commentary magazine, Dontmindme.com (http://www.dontmindme.com). The latest change isn't a big adjustment from the last time, but I did freshen up the look a little, as well as add a few new things. I've had positive feedback from my friends and my staff of volunteer writers, but let's face it, they're probably a little biased.
If you'd like to see the previous look, I've placed an old version of the index page (http://www.dontmindme.com/indexformer.php) online for comparison.
There are a few more things I'm thinking of changing, but I'd like to hear a few opinions from others first.

The new version is nice, but I like the older version better. :p All i noticed different is the google adds moving and that black bar thingy on the right side in the new one.

Both versions are really nicely done. I'm not sure which I like better. Maybe in the new version if there were more than 3 links on the right under "all time favourites" it would have more balance, but that's just a thought. Both versions look great and I just had some good laughs at the content!

the black sides on the first one works well for me. I think the first one is an improvement on a very good site to begin with,

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. In regard to comments, yes, I know, it's not a big change from the previous version. The black bar on both sides, as opposed to just the left, is the largest change, along with the "All Time Favourites" (to which I will be adding more items in the near future).
What does everyone think about the main banner at the top? That's one of the items I'm thinking of changing. I'm also going to redo the forum, but I'm waiting for the new version of phpbb to come out.

Thanks for the compliments. It's taken a long time to get my site to the way it looks now -- almost five years.
