I had the misfortune of a declined credit card in my info, and the package and domain expired.

So after two days, I entered a new credit card, and wouldn't you know it, my page disappeared!

Have sent at least seven emails to billing and support @ powweb. Got several back saying the same things:

Your domain expired.

You must resolve it with OPS.

Allow one or two days.

Meanwhile, look up there in the OPS, and wouldn't you know it they have taken the proper coin from my account. The account is settled. And so is a little note for the domain renewal.

Check further down the page, and the domain expired on 5/29, my payment for the renewal was cleared according to OPS on 5/30.

So I give it two days. Send emails, they come back at me with the same stuff over and over.

So now here we are, I have not heard a response to my last email (more than 48 hours now).

I cannot get anything for my page. I cannot find a 404, I cannot upload anything, I cannot do anything!!!

Thanks Powweb.

Looking into this it looks like you forgot to renew your domain name. It expired on 2002-05-29 14:05:03. We started sending you renewal notices on 2002-02-29.

I just took care of this for you, but for future reference, log into Ops > DomReg > Click ion the link for your domain and you will see the page to renew your domain.

FYI: You only have the ability to renew a domain after you receive your 90 day reminder renewal notice.

Your domain should be active w/in 24 hours. :)

Thanks for taking care of me, but if you would read the countless emails I did again, or even read the post I just made...

I DID GO THROUGH THE RENEWAL PROCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOW DO YOU THINK THE RENEWAL ENDED UP BEING CHARGED TO MY CARD?

You really need to sort out that OPS if this is the way things are going to go every time.

WHOA!!!!!!!

YOU CHARGED ME AGAIN!!!!!

This is crazy, I just checked out the OPS, and if you would just check the damn thing you would see that I have now been charged for the renewal twice!!!!

Give me a break and get your acts together.

Hi coachmarino,

Normally, once you've made payment, the domain name renewal should of gone through that day automatically. For some reason, it did not. This is an isolate incident and I will forward it to our developers so it doesn't happen again. Starr had manually submitted your domain name for renewal so you should be fine once DNS updates. I've confirmed your domain name has been renewed.

Earlier today, it looks like you've submitted another request for domain name registration through OPS. That has also gone through. Your domain name will now be renewed for 2 years instead of 1.

Again, I apologize and understand your frustration.
