My newest site hosted on powweb.....

This is my newest site, its a addition to my fastly growing network of sites involving my music.

I'm sorry but you need to check your records. This site is not hosted through Powweb, it is hosted through Yahoo. Please read the forum guidelines before posting.

1. Declare non-PowWeb hosted sites
We will still continue to allow critique requests for non-PowWeb hosted sites, but you must declare that the site is not hosted at PowWeb and offer some reason why you're asking the PowWeb forum community for a critique. Maybe you're a customer who has done some work for a client who already had an arrangement with another host. Maybe you're a non-customer who thinks the PowWeb forum community do a pretty good of reviewing sites and would value our feedback. Whatever, just tell us your story or the thread will go into immediately into the trash.

I bought the DOMAIN on yahoo, the entire site is ON pow webs server....

I have it fowarded FROM yahoo. TO pow web... But the files them self are on my price trim server hosted by pow web.....

Ok, so your actual domain that is hosted through Powweb is http://pricetrim.com and not www.essamples.com.

Yes. I am waiting to purchase another domain through pow web, once I do that the URL will change. But until then I am just going to use what I have in order to keep my site up and running.

Here's my knee jerk reaction, for what it's worth... I never got any further than halfway down your home page because the first thing you told me was about how you take payment, before I had any idea why I might want to pay for anything and the second thing you told me was that I could buy some bunch of things for US$60 dollars but, since I couldn't tell what they were at a single glance I left your site immediately, as I would any site where getting my money appeared 100% more important to the webmaster than giving me any idea why I should want to give it to him/her... Sorry if this sounds brutal, but I speak as I find and I'm probably not the only person on the planet that reacts this way...

Perfectly understandable. I am targeting a certain crowd who comes across this site already knowing they are going to purchase sample CDs, so I can understand how you could get confused. Thanks for the feedback.

This site doesn't appeal to me, but I know that other people respond better to this kind of advertising style. It looks too much like spam and I would leave the site. I clicked the links and first thought I kept seeing the same page. I had to scroll down just to see the pics of the products and had to scroll down even further to find the text info. If I want to see FAQ, I would like to see the text info and not have to scroll 3 screen lengths to find it.

I am currently viewing in 800x600 screen resolution, because I have been working too much and I couldn't read the text anymore! There is no horizontal scrolling, but there is too much vertical scrolling to find the information in which I was interested. There is too much blank space that makes the page longer.

There are spelling errors such as vairy should be vary on About Us, the word "An" should be "And", immediantly should be immediately. There are probably more errors. Try copying and pasting the text in Word to spell check, then copy the corrected text back into your web page.

I am not even sure what you are selling. Are you selling music samples from other artists' work?
