I read in the outages section that they are doing maintenance on the MYSQL servers. I do hope they are back up soon as my message boards are pretty useless right now. Anyone know about when everything will be back to normal?
All mysql services were restores 6 hours ago. If your still having problems you probably need to make sure your tables are not corrupt by running "repair table [table_name]" in phpmyadmin.

I keep doing that, but the problem keeps re-occurring as of the time of this post.

Same here.... the servers are (obviously) broken....
I'm getting the error as well. And now I'm going to sleep and if it happens again my forums will probably be down for half a day before I can come online to repair them. :( Please get to the bottom of this issue ASAP.

Thats an understatment!
I can't do jack with my site right now cause of all the issues. I've tryed different MySQL servers also like 01,04,05,09 and all the same Error after error. This is a joke!

Same problem here and I'm on mysql04... the following error appeared all of a sudden:
phpBB : Critical Error
Error creating new session
DEBUG MODE
SQL Error : 1016 Can't open file: 'forum_sessions.MYI' (errno: 145
You can guess from my signature I have better things to do today than answering my forum's users panicked messages about the error

Repair doesn't help. As soon as someone tries posting in my forum it crashes and cause the posts table to become in use and stay that way.
One thing I have noticed is I have a "Collation" column that I don't have in forums on other host. It has listed "latin1_swedish_ci" in all of the tables? It this just because of a different version of MYSQL or what?
My entire site is dead! Can't even get into the MySQL table through phpMyAdmin. When I attempt to log in to mysql01.powweb.com, I get the error message below.
This is REALLY quite INTOLERABLE. We're not just talking about a discussion whether site traffic statistics work properly, or whether grey listing is blocking this e-mail or that e-mail. We're talking about sites that don't work AT ALL.
Fix it. FAST.
Same problem here with my Oscommerce catalog....
I repair the table and is just crashes again with the same error below...
1016 - Can't open file: 'sessions.MYI' (errno: 145)
select value from sessions where sesskey = '0d70c6b5d040940366a304de3ea1ebf5' and expiry > '1113616021'

Well I agree we should get some kind of offical statement or acknowledgement on this issue as it's happening across all 9 servers, repair only temporarily solves the problem, and obviously it's very serious in nature as it causes complete db crashes. From reading about 20 threads on this board- sounds like we're all having the identical issue.
My site is up (www.chyler-leigh.net) as long as no one adds any new items to the db- but as far as I'm concerned I consider that being virtually down.
Same here....
Here too. I'm just after the 2nd repair.
