ftp'ing monday 06.10 night

hey hey. i know there has been some unforseen discontinuation in service today, but i was just wondering if this and any associated activities (e.g., upgrading, maintenance) affect the ability to ftp? my site is up, so i gather my server is honkey dorey, but i've been having a bear of a time trying to ftp.

just curious whether 1) anyone has tried to ftp today, and 2) if they have been successful or experienced hiccups? if the latter of 2), does anyone know how soon before we can ftp again?

I've FTP'ed to Venus, Terra, Andromeda servers since we came back on line with no problem.

dag nabbit! thanks. i'm trying to ftp to quasar, but it seems to take an extra long time to connect (specifically, when it's trying to verify the connection), and then, while i'm uploading, i inevitably get disconnected due to some error.

I just checked, and Orion has NO problems with FTP... connects and transfers files with no glitches.
