Hi All,

This is a wierd one.

I spent the last few hours working out how to use easypopulate. I had quite a few errors, all of which were because of the text in the file I was uploading. Each time I uploaded using EP, lines of text would be displayed with an error at the last one. Each time I cleared the error more lines were displayed the next time up to the next error.

All well and good. I got rid of all my errors. When I loaded the file using EP the lines were displayed showing everything that had been loaded. Jobs a guddun!

I had a problem where pictures weren't displayed because the line in the file for each picture pointed to the wrong place. So I went through the file and changed the entries so they were correct. When I uploaded the file the pictures still didn't work, again I tried and then again.

All of a sudden it dawned on me that the EP upload was not displaying the confirmation lines of what had been uploaded anymore. A quick check later and I realised it is not uploading the file anymore. So it wasn't my changes that were incorrect, they simply weren't being loaded.

I even downloaded a file from the server and tried to re-load it, but nothing happened. As a last resort I deleted everything out of my shop and tried to upload again. Still nothing.

I only had 70 records but I tried to split the file, it made no difference and I tried to change the $maxrecs value as in the PDF file, but that did nothing either.

I'm completely puzzled by it. It worked fine so many times, then all of a sudden just stopped working.

What happens is that when I click on "insert into db" it almost instantly returns to same the screen. It doesnt even seem to be trying to upload the file. But the file is so small it's hard to tell.

I don't know if it's related but the product prices don't update either, they never have, but I was going to solve that particular puzzle after I had sorted out the pictures. The prices are listed in my file but once uploaded it just has a zero for the price.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Lee

Just to update the thread. I managed to resolve this by simply waiting. I tried again a day or so later and it worked fine and has worked fine since. Maybe it was a problem with caching somewhere (maybe at my ISP or within I.E. or something like that). I don't know but it's kicked back into life.

Still having the problem where it isn't accepting the price though.

Cheers
