Please help

hi...
i am very new to creating a website and i don't even know how to upload my website after creating it.I know i could upload using ftp but it doesn't seem to work.
think i have accidentally delete 2 folders that was in my account htdocs or something like that.

Really hope someone can help me get started....

You will need to re-create the htdocs folder and Chmod it to 755. Then upload all of your files into that htdocs folder, before they can be viewed online.

The 2 folders were htdocs and cgi-bin both can be recreated and chmod to 755 as (jj) said. You can create them here: http://webftp.powweb.com and check or change they are 755 by clicking on the -wxr-wr-wr---- part. You can also use this tool to upload your website into the htdocs folder 5 files at a time. Or a FTP program like FileZilla (it's free) will upload all at once. Be sure to rename your home page to index.html and remember - everything is casE SeNsiTiVe on PowWeb.
