what do i do if i have misplaced the info and have forgotten ops name as i can't login or recover my password for the same.... ftp login and stuff is fine as i have been updating regularly....what are the options?????

also since the free domain name offer which i signed up for ends and i will be paying for the domain name - will powweb transfer administrative control over to me instead of being listed as the administrative control????

cheers

You can call or email support@powweb.com, be sure to include the last 4 digits of the credit card on file.

Also, you are in total control of your domain. You should be able to change any of the contact info. I don't have a domain through powweb, but if you go through OPS, you should be able to find it.

Good Luck

If you are using Windows with Autocomplete turned on, you can just try typing the first letter of the username and if the letter is correct, the username will appear. Try a then b then c then d and so on.

If you don't want them to show up in the WhoIs, use the OpenSRS/Tucows control panel rather than OPS at https://manage.opensrs.net/ to remove them from the public listing. As I have moved my domain to another registrar, I don't remember on which tab you have to mak that choice, just look thru the pages.
