FTP is messed up?

I cannot connect to my FTP using Internet explorer, or through XP's... "My Network Places"...
It times out... why is this? Anyone able to helP??

It times out... why is this? Anyone able to helP??Sign into OPS > package > WebSite > DNS.
Define the host name you wish to have for ftp service on your domain, eg 'ftp' for 'ftp.yourdomain.com' (name is your choice), like this:

in the CNAME section, in the left box enter 'ftp' (without the apostrophes of course), and in the right box the pwoweb ftp server assigned to you, sample: 'ftp04.powweb.com.', with a trailing period (and again without the apostrophes.
Hit the submit button/icon at the right of the data entry fields.
Wait upto three hours until the DNS settings are picked up.

Then connect to 'ftp://ftp.yourdomain.com'. If the IE browser doesn't ask you for the sign-in, use the menuitem from the File menu.
